Privacy policy

Last updated: 28 May 2026

This privacy policy explains how Dr Ashok Rajput’s office (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you visit drashokrajput.com or contact us through the website. It is drafted with reference to the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 of India.

What we collect

  • Contact form submissions — name, email address, optional phone number, preferred clinic, and message contents
  • Server logs — IP address (truncated), user agent, requested URL, response time. Used for security and reliability
  • Privacy-preserving analytics via Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint visitors

Lawful basis

We process your contact-form data on the lawful basis of your explicit consent, captured by the consent checkbox before submission.

How we use your data

  • To respond to your enquiry (delivered to our office Gmail via Cloudflare Email Routing — no third-party mail provider holds your message)
  • To maintain a record of correspondence for legitimate medical-administrative purposes
  • To protect the site against abuse (spam, denial-of-service)

Retention

Contact-form submissions are retained for 24 months from the date of receipt, after which they are deleted unless a medical-administrative reason requires longer retention.

Your rights under the DPDP Act, 2023

  • Right to access — request a summary of personal data we hold about you
  • Right to correction and erasure — request that inaccurate data be corrected or unnecessary data be deleted
  • Right to nominate — nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of incapacity
  • Right to grievance redressal — raise concerns with our Data Principal Grievance contact (below)

To exercise any of these rights, email rajput.chest@gmail.com with the subject line “DPDP Request”.

Data Principal Grievance Officer

Dr Ashok Rajput, A-146 Lok Vihar, Pitampura, Delhi 110034. Email: rajput.chest@gmail.com

Breach reporting

In the unlikely event of a personal-data breach, we will notify affected Data Principals and the Data Protection Board of India in accordance with the timelines specified by the DPDP Act, 2023.

Third parties we rely on

  • Cloudflare — hosting (Cloudflare Pages), CDN, anti-abuse (Turnstile), privacy-preserving analytics, and Email Routing for delivering contact-form messages to our office Gmail
  • GitHub — content version control via Decap CMS (administrative back-end)

Cookies

The public site does not set tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set a single short-lived security cookie (__cf_bm) to protect against automated abuse; this expires within 30 minutes.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
